Since January 2009, Slusser has been a Regional Director of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitor’s Association.

Before starting his own practice, Slusser practiced law with firms in the Hazleton area. He was also an attorney with the Public Protection Division of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.

A native of the Hazleton area, Slusser graduated from The Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Widener School of Law.
