Slusser Law Firm Retained by Family of Man Shot and Killed by Police Officer

The Slusser Law Firm has been retained to represent the family of a Hummelstown, PA, man who was shot and killed by a Hummelstown Borough police officer on February 2 outside his South Hanover Township home.


A witness said the man, David Anthony Kassick, 59, was unarmed at the time of the shooting. He was a native of Hazleton. The shooting death is under investigation.



Attorney John Solt of the Slusser Law Firm spoke on behalf of the Kassick family to frustrated residents of Hummelstown this past weekend at a meeting in the town park. A video of the interview is posted below.
