About
Nicole F. Bednarek, Esquire was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania. Growing up in a blue collar family, Nicole learned the value of a strong work ethic and regularly maintained multiple jobs to support herself while attending college and law school. She graduated cum laude from Bloomsburg University with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology and earned her Juris Doctorate from Penn State Dickinson School of Law as a member of the Trial Advocacy Team, graduating in the top third of her class. She is a member the Pennsylvania Bar and has been admitted to the Middle District Court of Pennsylvania.
Before becoming part of the Slusser Law Firm team, Nicole specialized in the areas of criminal defense, administrative law, and child welfare law, and maintained a private practice focusing on adoption law. She has also represented clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury claims, worked as an Attorney Advisor and Senior Attorney Advisor for the Social Security Administration, handled estates, and served as a Solicitor for a local school district and Luzerne County Children and Youth. Nicole spent much of her career as a litigator, has presented at trainings and conferences relating to adoption, and also worked for several years as an Administrative Law Judge.
In her spare time, you can usually find Nicole on the sidelines of one of her children’s sporting events, hanging out with her three Boxers, or cheering for (or yelling at) the Phillies.
