About
Attorney Jeffrey A. Rockman was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He graduated in 1982 from Brandeis University with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in American Studies and Legal Studies. Following college, Attorney Rockman went on to attend the Dickinson School of Law, where he was a member of the Dickinson Law Review. He also served in the prestigious position as the Law Review’s Projects Editor.
Following graduation from law school, Attorney Rockman pursued a career in litigation, first with a private local law firm. Attorney Rockman then joined a Philadelphia, Pa. based private law firm where he specialized in complex litigation involving antitrust, products liability and banking issues. Attorney Rockman then returned to Northeast Pennsylvania in the late 1990’s and continued his law practice as a sole practitioner, dealing with a variety of areas of the law, including legal malpractice, employment litigation, collection law and commercial litigation. Attorney Rockman also possesses extensive private business experience, having owned and operated a bakery equipment/restaurant supply business for more than 25 years.
During his 35 years of practice, Attorney Rockman has demonstrated himself to be a quick study and capable of diligently and zealously prosecuting many diverse legal matters on behalf of his clients. He has consistently demonstrated an understanding of his clients’ needs and has obtained many favorable settlements on his clients’ behalf.
Attorney Rockman is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and in the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
Attorney Rockman currently serves as Assistant Solicitor for Hazle Township, Municipal Authority of Hazle Township, Hazleton Area School District, Weatherly Area School District, Schuylkill Valley Sewer Authority and West Hazleton Borough.
When he is not busy advocating for his clients’ interests, Attorney Rockman can be found attending sporting events or enjoying precious time with his beloved dogs, Rufus & WALL-E.
